Trophy Partnership Spotlights 50th Anniversary

Cody Smiley and Shannon Huppert of Golden Sands Speedway in Central Wisconsin have partnered with Renee & Van Patrick Gotz of Rapids Awards `N More LLC, as the official awards sponsor for the 2017 & 2018 race seasons.

As part of the partnership, Rapids Awards `N More LLC will be providing the awards for the races and periodic, exclusive racing collectibles during race days at Golden Sands Speedway. Golden Sands Speedway will be sharing the details of offerings as they become available on their website and through social media.

Van Patrick Gotz had this to say about the partnership. This places us in a new awards and collectibles arena with Cory and Shannon. Golden Sands Speedway is “Celebrating 50 Years of Racing “during the 2017 season. Renee and myself look forward to continuing the Racing tradition at Golden Sands Speedway for another 50 years.    

Cody Smiley purchased Golden Sands Speedway, located at 10992 State Highway 54 East, from Darrel & Shela Bassuener in November 2016. Cody brings to the track a lifetime love for racing, and looks forward to being able to share his passion with race fans from the area. Rapids Awards ‘N More LLC’s showroom is located at 3622 8^th Street South in Wisconsin Rapids, and has been locally owned and operated for more than 26 years. Renee and Van Patrick Gotz purchased the business from Larry & Rosie Anderson in June 2016, and brought with them experience engraving with larger entities including The Chicago Cubs, MLB, Donald Driver Foundation, The Mike Ditka Gold Charity, John Hancock Financial, and Boston Red Sox.
